Several times Joop asked me if I can make Kimchi Taco, which is big success in California and New York. As good timing my mother in law sent us burrito wrap so we decided to try new recipe. Suprisingly it was not that hard to make amazingly yummy!!
Ingredient for 6 wraps:
Minced beef, Kimchi, half of white onion, 4 mushrooms, 1 tomato, lettus, burrito wrap, Taco sauce
Note: you can get Kimchi at Korean market or Asian market. However there are so many variation of kimchi, so make sure you buy original one with cabbage. (배추김치). Usually more fermented kimchi taste better when it’s stir-fried.
How to make :
1. Prepare 2 frying pan. In one pan, stir-fry minced beef (with garlic if you like) until it is well cooked and on the other pan stir-fry kimchi.I recommend not to mix these 2 pan so that kimchi can have it’s original taste.
Tip: When you fry kimchi, one spoon of sesami oil is better than normal oil.
We prepared more variation hot sauce and sour cream.
6. Assemble together and enjoy!
